The Naval Architectcreates and maintains ship profiles for loading computers and stowage planning software on the basis of documentation from shipyards and engineering offices. You will work from our site in Flensburg, Germany for Navis Carrier & Vessel Solutions - the global market leader for ship owners and ocean carriers. Our software is used both onboard vessels and onshore in offices.

Responsibilities
- Creation and modification of ship profiles from Stability Booklets, Cargo Securing Manuals (CSM) and other ship documentation
- Creation of test loading cases and submission to classification societies, as well as continuous liaison until final approval is received
- Construction of and changes to 3D ship models
- Implementation and evaluation of CFD simulations
- Close cooperation with our customers and the classification societies
- Internal and external advice on shipbuilding issues
- Independent and responsible processing of projects
- Completed study in shipbuilding or a comparable qualification in the technical or maritime field
- Very good knowledge of English and German, both spoken and written
- Strong knowledge of MS Office products
- Communicative personality with a confident, customer-oriented manner
- Very good analytical skills and innovative, integrated thinking
- Independent and careful working style
