We are looking for an Engineer or Senior Engineer with experience in structural analysis to join our Renewables Engineering team in Aibel Haugesund. In this role, you will work on outfitting and secondary steel engineering for large-scale offshore wind projects. About the position
As a structural outfitting analysis engineer, you will contribute to the design and analysis of secondary and outfitting steel structures. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in studies, FEED and detail engineering projects ensuring that structures meet all relevant load conditions and project requirements

About the position
As a structural outfitting analysis engineer, you will contribute to the design and analysis of secondary and outfitting steel structures. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in studies, FEED and detail engineering projects ensuring that structures meet all relevant load conditions and project requirements
Responsibilities and tasks include
- Work on structural design development and analyses for secondary and outfitting steel structures, such as external platforms and supports for large equipment
- Perform linear and non-linear structural analyses using SESAM software, alongside hand calculations (Mathcad, etc.)
- Write structural design reports and perform checks on structural design and fabrication drawings
- Interface with other disciplines to ensure smooth project coordination
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
- Experience in structural analysis and design; knowledge of DNV Sesam software is a plus
- Familiarity with DNV and international standards; knowledge of Norwegian technical standards is beneficial
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Positive attitude, proactive, and eager to learn and share knowledge
- Ability to work independently and with a detail-oriented approach
- Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal; knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage
