As a Naval Architect, you will have to work in close coordination with the design team and client. Your Role and Responsibilities will be: <ul><li>Liaise with client and /or class for basic design of ships and boats.</li><li>Prepare preliminary GA and technical specifications.</li><li>Should be able to do Naval Architecture calculations covering weight, stability, scantling, resistance &amp; powering, propulsion, tonnage, hydrostatics etc.</li><li>Should be able to do Class approval plans and liaise with class for all projects.</li><li>Knowledge of class rules, IMO, and flag state authority regulations (SOLAS, Lloyd's, DNV, ABS, IRS etc.).</li><li>Should have good skills in Hull surface fairing.</li><li>Knowledge of any Naval Architectural software like MAXSURF or DELFT ship or NAPA or GHS is a must.</li><li>Knowledge in finite element analysis for structural design.</li><li>Knowledge in CFD for hydrodynamic analysis.</li><li>Assist and perform any R&amp;D related tasks and responsibilities.</li><li>Should be able to lead and guide a team of Naval Architects.</li><li>Assist Business Development team in pre-sales.</li><li>Mechanical and offshore structures background with experience of structural analysis and use of FEA software is desirable.</li><li>Preparation of technical reports from associated analysis that will form part of the design packages.</li><li>Should ensure the quality of work is maintained and delivery timelines met.</li><li>Should have good engineering aptitude and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Willing to re-locate on client site, either domestic or International on short notice.</li><li>Any other associated task or responsibilities assigned from time to time by the organization.</li></ul>Job Requirements: <ul><li>You hold a degree in Naval Architecture or Masters in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering/Ocean Structures/ Ocean Technology with minimum relevant work experience of 2 to 3 years.</li><li>You have worked on basic design projects in ship design/shipbuilding/offshore.</li><li>You have good communication skills and have minute attention to detail.</li><li>You will be willing to continue to develop your technical knowledge and skills.</li><li>You are ready to serve the minimum service commitment of 1 year in our company.</li></ul>We Offer: <ul><li>A full-time position with competitive benefits.</li><li>Exciting and challenging working environment with exposure to international projects.</li><li>A rapidly growing young and enthusiastic organization with the shortest lines of communication with the management.</li><li>Opportunities for international travel with ample scope for personal growth</li></ul>
