Marine Superintendent (Dry Bulk)

Job Responsibiities: The candidate need to have experience in following : 3D modelling, Lightship Weight estimation, Stability Analysis, Longitudinal Strength calculation, Freeboard calculation, Tank calibration report, Conduct Inclining Experiment, draft survey, Must have basic knowledge of statutory rules &amp;requirements, basic knowledge of ships structure. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Prepare Statutory Drawings like Fire Control Plan, Structural Fire protection plan, Life Saving Appliances Plan, Light sound and signal plan, Crew Accommodation Plan etc., prepare procurement specifications, arrangement drawings like Disposition of Doors, Hatches, Manholes, Windows and Scuttles etc.</li><li>Concept Design of Ships - Prepare general arrangement for various types of vessels, perform basic naval architectural calculations of vessel sizing, lines plan development, resistance &amp; powering, bollard pull calculations, propeller design, midship section, steel MTO and lightship weight estimation.</li><li>3D modelling, Lightship Weight estimation, Stability Analysis, Longitudinal Strength calculation, Freeboard calculation, Tank calibration report, Conduct Inclining Experiment, draft survey, basic knowledge of statutory rules &amp; requirements, basic knowledge of ships structure.</li><li>To assist in Basic Design of Ships- Involve in preparation of basic structural drawings and calculations. Tech in Naval Architecture</li></ul>Desired profile of the candidate: <ul><li>Ideal candidate has up to 1-2 years' experience working for a design consultancy in the Basic Design dept, involved in concept/basic design of various types of vessels. </li><li>Exposure to different types of commercial vessels and/or innovative design concepts advantageous.</li><li>Basic understanding of ISO standards is preferred.</li></ul>
