Summary: The primary objective of the Marine Technician position is to attend to repairs and maintenance on the new Leopard catamarans under warranty. What you will be doing: <ul> <li>Perform repairs on new boats during the commissioning &amp; warranty process (mainly in Saint Raphael, France).</li> <li>Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, &amp; repair various boat systems (power &amp; sail) in a timely manner. Including but not limited to: <ul> <li>Plumbing</li> <li>Water makers</li> <li>Generators</li> <li>Engines</li> <li>Invertors</li> <li>Electronics</li> <li>Fit &amp; finish issues (gelcoat/fiber and basic carpentry work)</li> <li>Caulking</li> </ul> </li></ul><ul> <li>Knowledge of tools and equipment used in marine maintenance.</li> <li>Handle multiple work orders and utilize computer/mobile systems to document work that has been performed.</li> <li>Work with sales agents and aftersales officer with projects as they develop.</li> <li>Preparation of boats for events and boat shows.</li> <li>Participate to Yacht acceptance and commissioning.</li></ul>The ideal candidate will have the following experience and/or qualifications: <ul> <li>Fluent in French and English</li> <li>Previous experience in a similar role within the yachting industry; experience with electrical systems and cabinetry repair</li> <li>Competent in boat construction, onboard systems, and maintenance is required</li> <li>Valid driver's license required</li> <li>Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills</li> <li>Proactive and able to work independently without supervision</li> <li>Maintains a calm and positive demeanor in high-pressure situations</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail</li> <li>Willingness and ability to travel 6 to 7 weeks per year within France and internationally for after-sales service, deliveries, boat shows, and related events</li></ul>Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion We believe people perform best when they can be their true selves, and diverse teams drive better results.
