We are working with a Major Oil &amp; Gas operator to source for Construction Lead (Structural) - Offshore Installation specialising in offshore compression. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis 6-days per week / 10 hours per day. Please see details below: Title: Construction Lead (Structural) - Offshore Installation Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice) Duration: 36 months (potential for extension) Location: Onshore (site based) Working Schedule: 6-days per week / 10 hours per day Location: Qatar / Oman (Onshore) - Mobilization to Doha and will move to Oman by 1st Quarter 2026. Then assignment will be in Oman until 1st quarter 2029 Job Purpose: <ul> <li> Oversee the planning preparation and execution of all aspects of the Compression Platform Structural Fabrication requirements of the project from yard activities to load out ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded. </li><li> In addition ensure the constructability of the design is consistent with established Project Engineering Drawings and industry processes and standards, effectively manage issues and resolution through strong interfaces with both company and contractor teams delivering full alignment of the Fabrication execution. </li></ul>Key Accountabilities: <ul> <li> Reports to COMP4 Construction Area Manager (Compression Platform). </li><li> Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process. </li><li> Manages and ensures successful execution of CP Topsides structures fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate). </li><li> To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Structure fabrication, Mechanical Completion to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards. </li><li> To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor. </li><li> To review deviations to QatarEnergy LNG construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built ...) for the construction activities. </li><li> Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required. </li><li> Review Contractor's progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any. </li><li> To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all structure subject, MC,Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting. </li><li> To Participate to Risk Assessments kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential. </li><li> To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company. </li></ul> Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering Knowledge and/or Experience: <ul> <li> 10 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil &amp; Gas Industry, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education. </li><li> Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions. </li></ul> Technical &amp; Business Skills: <ul> <li> Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies. </li><li> Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope. </li><li> Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope. </li><li> Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities. </li><li> Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc. </li></ul>

Construction Lead (Structural) - Offshore Installation

Job Description This role involves testing, maintaining, and repairing ROV systems and related equipment, including fault finding, system certification, and performing electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic tasks. The position supports operational readiness through spare parts management, service record upkeep, and workshop organization, while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities • Testing, maintenance and repair of ROV systems and ancillary equipment • ROV system fault finding and repair • Assist with system certification, PMS and mobilisation / de-mobilisation activities • Provide technical and operational support to ROV Superintendent and Workshop Manager • Complete electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic work activities Carry out electrical and mechanical main lift terminations • Support operational ROV systems as required • Assist in the identification and ordering of suitable spare parts to ensure they are available when required Ensure ROV workshop critical spares and stock levels are maintained • Update and Maintain ROV system service records Complete job cards • Interface with other workshop disciplines as and when required • Responsible for own occupational safety/health, safety of fe llow employees and members of the public. • Ensure safe operations to avoid high impact on the environment • Maintain good housekeeping of the ROV workshop area • Assist in the implementation of departmental processes to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and any other standards and requirements • Implement and actively enforce compliance to work processes to ensure the health and safety of employees and the protection of the environment. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications Education &amp; Professional Qualification: - Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electronic, Mechanical Engineering with vocational qualification (electricity and/or hydraulics and/or mechanics) and industry recognized certificates. Professional Experience: - 5 - 7 years in ROV related services - 3 years of which in a supervisory position Geographic Experience: - Is an advantage Computer Skills: - Good knowledge of Office and web applications Language Skills: - Business fluent English Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge: - Knowledge of Electronics, high voltage electrical equipment - Understanding of hydraulic equipment preferred
