Binnen de afdeling Marine behandelen we schades en inspecties van vaartuigen. Dit varieert o.a. van werkschepen tot marine schepen tot superjachten. We voeren grondig onderzoek uit de naar aard, toedracht, omvang van de schade waarbij wij tevens de claim beoordelen. Daarbij volgen wij de richtlijnen van het Nederlands Instituut van Register Experts (NIVRE). Hierbij komt een groot aantal issues aan bod, van milieuverontreiniging tot schade door tijdverlies. Geen dag is dus hetzelfde! Zo start je de dag bijvoorbeeld op kantoor in Rotterdam om rapporten van geïnspecteerde schades af te maken, en word je binnen een uur gebeld om een schade te inspecteren. Dit kan overal in Nederland zijn, of ter wereld. Van de bevindingen en vaststellingen stel jij een helder rapport op, op basis waarvan opdrachtgevers in staat zijn de schade financieel af te wikkelen met hun klanten of tegenpartijen. Hiervoor stel je een eerste rapport op, waarin je een grove inschatting maakt wat er gebeurd is en wat de verwachte kosten en werkzaamheden zullen zijn. Hierna ga je verder met het onderzoek en schrijf je aansluitend een definitief rapport. Het is van groot belang hier nauwkeurig in te zijn en deze weer tijdig op te leveren bij belanghebbende partijen. Ook onderhoud en bouw je eigen relaties op met zowel opdrachtgevers, verzekeringsmakelaars als verzekeraars. Key accountabilities In this role, you will: <ul><li>Develop and design new ship concepts and series in 3D, ensuring each design meets high standards in terms of accuracy, attractiveness, and client satisfaction.</li><li>Contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization, staying updated on market and technological trends, and actively supporting colleagues in their understanding of design concepts.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, procedures, and HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience <ul><li>Proven experience in shipbuilding and conceptual ship development, with a strong focus on setting up new designs in 3D.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt designs based on market input, creating vessels tailored to the needs of multiple clients.</li><li>Strong creativity, communication skills, and market orientation to ensure designs are not only technically sound but also market-viable and appealing.</li><li>Relevant technical education, with experience in a related field.</li></ul>If you are passionate about ship design, thrive in a collaborative environment, and enjoy creating impactful, customer-focused designs, we encourage you to apply!
