She/He will be welcome in a supportive and collaborative learning environment Functional Competencies: <ul> <li>Undertake classification / certification and statutory surveys , (SAY), survey at yard and inspections of new construction projects according to rules and regulations.</li> <li>Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure all survey / inspection reports (including survey certificates) are factual, objective and submitted within the stipulated format and timeframe.</li> <li>Provide on-the-job training, supervising, coaching and mentoring new surveyors.</li> <li>Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.</li> <li>Participate in meetings (both internal and external) as required.</li> <li>Attend all scheduled trainings (locally and overseas) and ultimately achieving specified delegations as agreed in Performance Management Process.</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate submission of time &amp; expense sheets.</li></ul>Requirements: <ul> <li>Degree qualified in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture</li> <li>Minimum 12 years relevant working experience as full pledge Marine surveyor in a classification society; or 18 years working experience as seafaring foreign going engineer and/or Technical Superintendent.</li> <li>Possess a valid driving license</li> <li>Able to travel at short notice and accept short to mid-term overseas assignments as required.</li></ul>Shaping A World of Trust To be successful in this role, the right candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to comply with our Absolutes (Safety, Ethics and Financial Control), and also Our Values (Trusted, Responsible, Ambitious &amp; Humble, Open &amp; Inclusive). SENIOR MARINE SURVEYOR - (NEW CONSTRUCTION) EGYPT

Responsibilities <ul> <li> Design review for the project components [Sub-structure, Super structure, Quay wall accessories, Breakwater, and temporary works] prepared by the project designers Quantity surveying for the project.</li> <li>Reviewing of all the technical documentation including but not limited to: (MST and ITP for all the project activities, Coordination/shop and as-built drawings for the QW and BW components, and Geotechnical Interpretative Reports for soils.</li> <li>Revising all project documents (MIR - WIR - DRC -MAR ....) Take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such.</li> <li>Ensure awareness of safety with HSE rules.</li></ul>Qualifications Bachelor University degree of Engineering +8 Years Experience Experienced in Port projects.
