Your Purpose: <ul><li>Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. </li><li>Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals. </li><li>Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. </li><li>Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. </li><li>Adhere to quality assurance standards in design. </li></ul>What you can bring: <ul><li>Chartered Civil Engineer. </li><li>Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. </li><li>Theoretical knowledge in ocean waves, tidal theory, extreme value statistics, nearshore wave processes and sediment transport. </li><li>Design experience of coastal structures such as flood defences, sea walls, breakwaters, revetments and beaches to appropriate codes and standards such as BS6349, EurOtop manual and rock manual. </li><li>The ability to plan and direct others in the use of numerical modelling to simulate wave propagation, tidal flows hydrodynamics etc. </li></ul>Why work for AtkinsRéalis?
