What you bring A degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd's Register from a marine or nautical institution and relevant sea-going experience as a certificated ship's Engineer officer. Preferably over 3 years of relevant industry experience in a multinational organization. Membership of an appropriate professional institution (I. Eng or equivalent). Ability to work in accordance to professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics in IMS01. Excellent command (written and oral) in English and Italian language using relevant professional terminology. Ability to use a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to apply existing and emerging technology. Ability to apply appropriate theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate and maintain engineering products, processes, systems and services. Understanding of technical and commercial management principles, e.g. project management, process management. European Driving License. Ability and willingness to travel mainly within the area above and on a case by case basis. Role Summary The OIM is in overall charge of and is accountable and responsible for the safety of all persons onboard, equipment and rig and all activities conducted. The OIM has total jurisdiction and authority over rig management including but not limited to safety, operations, personnel, training, regulatory compliance, budget management and environmental compliance. The OIM is to provide onboard leadership and direction for meeting the customers drilling program requirements in accordance with Borr Drilling programs, policies and procedures. Responsibilities <ul><li>Reports directly and provides support to the Rig Manager with regard the day-to-day management and long-range stewardship of the rig</li><li>Directly responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient operation and management of the rig and to ensure all drilling operations are conducted in accordance with Client's well program and Company policies and procedures</li><li>Demonstrate a personal commitment to Borr Drilling's QHSE Management System;
