(AIS) is a national scientific services firm supporting maritime activities requiring certification of compliance with environmental regulations as well as collecting data for use by Federal, State, Municipal, and other government agencies along the US coastline. AIS is looking for a Fisheries Biologist to support an ongoing acoustic trawl survey. Primary Function: AIS is looking for a fisheries biologist to support an ongoing acoustic trawl survey within the Fishery Resource Analysis &amp; Monitoring Division of NOAA. This position requires an outgoing individual capable of leading wet-lab operation throughout all stages of survey operation. The AFO also provides public education and awareness of the various fisheries, their cultural importance, the resource limitations and conservation practices.
