Ports & Marine Engineer

City Experiences is seeking a Marine Engineer for our City Cruises operation in Toronto. Come join our Engineering team and create amazing experiences! About You: This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System. About the Opportunity: The Engineer executes repairs and regular maintenance of our fleet of Transport Canada inspected passenger vessels and associated equipment. As part of the engineering team, the Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting problems as well as designing and implementing solutions. Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities: <ul><li>Ensures the safe and reliable operation of all vessels, systems, machinery, and equipment under his/her care with due regard for the Safety Management System (SMS), and proper standards of watchkeeping, and in accordance with practice of good seamanship</li><li>Routinely inspects all areas of the vessels, stages, dock, and marine railway for unsafe conditions, and assists in accident investigations and reports</li><li>Participates in emergency drills in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, the Safety Management System. The successful candidate will perform daily preventative maintenance tasks and, will be responsible for maintaining the safe mechanical operation of vessels ensuring all repairs are conducted safely and efficiently as per set procedures.
