CONSULTANCY DESCRIPTION Environmental Incentives is seeking a mid-level Marine Conservation Expert for the Peru 118/119 analysis update. The Marine Conservation Expert will serve as a key contributing member of a core analysis team for this activity. The Marine Conservation Expert will report to the Team Lead and IDEAL's technical manager at Environmental Incentives, and contribute to the development and implementation of all client deliverables. This includes providing inputs into a work plan, conducting desk-based research, leading a portion of stakeholder consultations and qualitative data collection, contributing to the synthesis of preliminary findings, contributing to the draft and final analysis reports in accordance with established protocols and quality standards, and contributing to a presentation to the Mission on final findings and key takeaways. Director of Operations: USAID/India Coastal and Marine Conservation Activity (CMCA)

POSITION TITLE: Chief of Party, Coastal and Marine Conservation Activity LOCATION: New Delhi, India UNIT: Forestry &amp; Natural Resource Management REPORTS TO: Director, Forestry &amp; Natural Resource Management GENERAL: Winrock is recruiting a Chief of Party (COP) for the upcoming USAID/India Coastal and Marine Conservation Activity. The five-year activity will work in concert with the Government of India to improve the health of coastal and marine ecosystems and the wellbeing of the communities that depend on them. Through this activity, USAID/India and the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEFCC) will strengthen the management of marine protected areas (MPAs) and their network; enhance the conservation, restoration and sustainable management of coastal areas and associated seascapes; and increase the resilience of coastal communities. This position will be based in New Delhi and is contingent upon award and funding. POSITION SUMMARY: The COP will be responsible for the performance, execution, and management of the program. The COP will coordinate closely with USAID and the Winrock home office in developing, implementing, and revising the program strategy. The COP oversees the strategic and technical direction of the program and serves as the principal link between USAID, Winrock's home office, and program partners and stakeholders. S/he will foster and maintain effective relationships and coordination with government, academia, private sector, civil society, NGOs, and other donors and ensure compliance with the agreement including timely, high-quality results. Chief of Party, Coastal and Marine Conservation Activity

[What the role is] Reporting to MPA's Hydrographic Division, the candidate will be part of our team of maritime professionals whose responsibilities are to ensure safe navigation in Singapore waters by providing hydrographic, cartographic and aids to navigation products and services. Assistant/Deputy Hydrographer (Hydrographic Survey)

[What the role is] Reporting to MPA's Hydrographic Division, candidate will be part of our team of maritime professionals whose responsibilities are to ensure safe navigation in Singapore waters by providing hydrographic, cartographic and aids to navigation products and services. [What you will be working on] Your duties will include: - Conduct hydrographic surveys in Singapore waters. - Operate, calibrate and maintain hydrographic equipment such as the multibeam sonar survey systems, side scan sonars, laser coast-lining systems, etc. - Process data generated from the various hydrographic surveys in office or on board the survey vessel. The data collected from the hydrographic surveys are used for nautical charting for the safety of navigation in Singapore waters. The work entails embarking and disembarking with equipment from small vessels to jetties via ladders/ landing steps and long duration on board survey vessel. The candidate is also expected to perform administrative roles such as liaising with internal/ external customers, report writing, project management and procurement processes. [What we are looking for] Candidate should possess relevant discipline such as Engineering, Nautical Studies or Information Technology. Candidates with at least 2 years of prior working experience in land surveying, cartography or geographical information/computer-aided design systems will have an advantage.
