Job Description We are looking for Hydrographic Nearshore Surveyors to join our project teams providing both field data acquisition and office support. You will also play a active role in the mobilisation and calibration of survey equipment contributing to the day-to-day office workloads. including data processing and QA/QC. You will be required to demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to working practices, essential in the nearshore survey market. This is a UK based role therefore it is essential that you have the right to work in the UK. Your responsibilities include: <ul><li>Mobilisation and calibration of survey equipment</li><li>Deployment/recovery and tuning of survey equipment</li><li>Online data acquisition and QC, daily data backup</li><li>Working with vessel master and Senior Surveyor/Party chief to ensure vessel is safe and serviceable for ongoing work</li><li>Perform marine activities as part of the vessel crew</li><li>Contribute to the day-to-day office workload including data processing and QA/QC of data</li><li>Continual improvement of company systems and pre-project documentation</li><li>Working with software packages including - QINSy, PDS2000, POSPac MMS, Trimble Business Centre, Caris HIPS and SIPS, Geosoft Oasis. Montaj.</li></ul>Qualifications Your qualities You can make your mark as a Hydrographic Nearshore Surveyors if you have: <ul><li>Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Survey Discipline or in Marine Science, Oceanography, Engineering, environmental Science</li></ul><ul><li>Previous industry experience of marine surveying</li><li>Have knowledge of software packages including - QINSy, PDS2000, POSPac MMS, Trimble Business Centre, Caris HIPS and SIPS, Geosoft Oasis. Montaj</li></ul><ul><li>Previous knowledge of Multibeam data processing, GNSS data processing. Geophysical data processing.
