Senior Software Engineer - Naval Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION <ul><li>Able to perform Naval Architecture calculations (manually and using software).</li><li>Experience using hydrostatic &amp; stability software to general hull model, general stability booklet, stability &amp; longitudinal strength check, sounding table etc.</li><li>Prepare test procedures (inclining experiment, weighing control, ballasting sequence for tanks testing/cargo loading).</li><li>Experience in conducting the inclining experiment, light ship survey, ship check.</li><li>Handle contract-bidding engineering specifications and enquiry.</li><li>Monitor the progress of drawings, documents and purchase specifications.</li><li>Perform quality assurance check of drawings.</li><li>Familiar with Marine classification society regulation and steel design code.</li><li>Liaise with Production Department to resolve site problems.</li><li>Liaise with Project Management Department to ensure on-time delivery of project.</li><li>Interact with customers, vendors and regulatory bodies on engineering design matters.</li></ul>JOB REQUIREMENTS <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the marine/offshore industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of marine vessel design principles and offshore structural requirements.</li><li>In-depth understanding of engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Stability Software, and other relevant design tools.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use engineering design software efficiently.</li><li>Familiarity with industry regulations and classification society standards.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.</li><li>Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.</li><li>Willingness to work on-site, including onboard inspections and surveys.</li></ul>Our Address and Working Hours: Admiralty Yard 60 Admiralty Road West, Singapore 759947 (Transport provided from Sembawang MRT) Mon - Thu: 8:00am - 5:15pm Fri: 8:00am - 4:30pm Interested candidates are invited to send us an updated resume with your current and expected salary and earliest availability.
