Bureau Veritas Australia - Marine and Offshore division is seeking an Marine/ Naval Architect Engineer to contribute to the growth of our Seaworthiness and Regulatory Advisory business. The role: The incumbent will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Seaworthiness Regulatory Framework for our client. This framework will represent a contemporary and fit-for-purpose approach to seaworthiness regulation, supporting Australia's sovereign interests into the future. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a talented engineer with a strong foundation in engineering principles to transition into the domain of regulatory framework development and management. You will contribute to the drafting of new policy, regulations and procedures for seaworthiness; draft acceptable means of compliance and guidance material; and also assist the regulated community with the development of compliance submissions, permits and approvals on behalf of the seaworthiness regulator. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of Naval Classification Rules and applying the new Naval Classification Framework.
