Role Summary The OIM is in overall charge of and is accountable and responsible for the safety of all persons onboard, equipment and rig and all activities conducted. The OIM has total jurisdiction and authority over rig management including but not limited to safety, operations, personnel, training, regulatory compliance, budget management and environmental compliance. The OIM is to provide onboard leadership and direction for meeting the customers drilling program requirements in accordance with Borr Drilling programs, policies and procedures. Responsibilities <ul><li>Reports directly and provides support to the Rig Manager with regard the day-to-day management and long-range stewardship of the rig</li><li>Directly responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient operation and management of the rig and to ensure all drilling operations are conducted in accordance with Client's well program and Company policies and procedures</li><li>Demonstrate a personal commitment to Borr Drilling's QHSE Management System; ensure all personnel on-board comply with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), i.e. Risk Assessments etc. and act as ultimate approval authority for same</li><li>Thorough knowledge and utilization of Company's Integrity Management System, responsible to ensure complete understanding and application of updates, changes and working instructions</li><li>Take a lead in conducting safety meetings, pre-tour meetings, training, safety drills etc. and ensure active participation by Company, Client and Third-Party personnel</li><li>Establish and maintain provisions for the nomination and election of safety representatives/committees; chair committee; respond to issues raised; and report as required, to designated onshore management</li><li>Overall responsibility for drilling activities, offshore logistics, MODU stability, rig move operations, personnel movements and adverse weather operation</li><li>Responsible for management of emergencies, including but not limited to, fire/explosion, H2S release, man over-board, collision, engineering, ballast issues or other maritime situations or environmental incidents</li><li>Required to have in-depth knowledge of the operations manual, emergency response plan and station bill and required to follow, and enforce the following of, Company policies and procedures by subordinates</li><li>Lead the coordination with emergency support services in an emergency i.e. standby vessels, helicopters, coastguard</li><li>Direct positioning of and maintain communication with the supply vessel to optimize operational effectiveness and provide means of emergency escape</li><li>Coordinate with Client Representative and department supervisors, the movement of supply boats, helicopters and other personnel and equipment logistics and remain informed of all such movements</li><li>Responsible to plan, organize and ensure all drilling operations are conducted in accordance with the Client's well program and Borr Drilling policies and procedures</li><li>Ensure correct manning levels are always maintained by sufficiently qualified and competent personnel and in accordance with safe well control practices, local regulatory requirements and Station Bill</li><li>Develop, review and approve daily operations plan in coordination with key personnel and Client Representative and ensure execution of all well operations meet requirements</li><li>Responsible to develop and sustain good working relationships with other crew members and client representatives to ensure priorities and plans are clearly communicated and understood by all parties</li><li>Participate in and delegate regular inspections and audits to ensure the rig's safety and conformance with Company policies and ensure any follow up actions are completed and closed out in a timely manner</li><li>Responsible to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents and carry out incident investigations: assign action items and ensure swift follow-up and close where necessary</li><li>Ensure all Borr personnel onboard maintain accurately their Borr Competency Assessment Management system (BCAMS) according to position</li><li>Accurately complete and review as necessary all paperwork, reports and logs as specified for Company, Client and statutory requirements in a timely manner</li><li>Ensure all rig documentation, including certificates, drawings, logs, permits and any other required documentation is maintained and reflects the current status of the unit and is in accordance with statutory and best practice requirements</li><li>Ensure no environmental threats or pollution exists from the rig: anticipate any issues and promptly act on and report any such conditions in line with Company and regulatory requirements</li><li>Ensure handling of all deck waste and drainage is discharged correctly and, in a manner consistent with statutory, regulatory and Company requirements</li><li>Actively involved in the preparation of rig operating budget and monitor, control and challenge purchases and expenditure in order to promote efficiency and achieve budgetary objectives</li><li>Oversee and manage the Company's Preventative Maintenance System offshore and ensure all required maintenance, both ad-hoc and planned, is carried out effectively</li><li>Particular focus to be given to ensuring any potential downtime for operations is kept to a minimum and safety standard are maintained</li><li>Oversee housekeeping and cleanliness of the rig including catering services, ensuring proper hygiene and quality standards are maintained. Ensure overall cleanliness of all areas and equipment on the rig, including ensuring equipment and materials are stored correctly and safely in compliance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Ensure the integrity and stability of the rig is always being maintained while afloat</li><li>Ensure emergency drills are always conducted and ensure preparedness of crew and equipment</li><li>Provide comprehensive handover notes for relief and ensure subordinates provide the same</li><li>Manage internal and external communications about safety and environmental aspects</li><li>Ensure the efficient and timely flow of information internally and externally between the rig and shore-based management with aim of promoting positive feedback and minimizing risk of loss, injury or delay through lack of coordination</li><li>Responsible to ensure recruitment and selection, performance management and discipline and grievance processes are effectively implemented and conducted in accordance with Company policies and procedures</li><li>Support, encourage and mentor crew members to ensure they have the skills and opportunity to build job specific competencies and complete training requirements</li><li>Responsible and accountable for ensuring the job specific training matrix requirements and competency training for all personnel on rig is completed within required timeframes</li><li>Personally, achieve and maintain required standards for own training and competency requirements for job role</li><li>Perform other duties, complete additional tasks and support ad hoc projects as required</li><li>Work with assigned assessor to complete Borr Competence Management System "BCAMS" and where necessary, identify and areas for development Provide demonstratable evidence to complement the assessor outcomes</li><li>Assess personnel within their area of responsibility. Offshore Installation Manager

OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE: The Offshore superintendent role covers, based on the experience, mainly the function of Offshore Manager/Deputy Offshore manager in the offshore installation sites, with a partial involvement as Installation Engineer in the office work. KEY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES Marine Operation Superintendent in the offshore installation sites This part of the role covers the operative execution on all marine installation sites activities for the implementation of a Project. The activity is carried out mainly on installation vessels or more in general, on other marine installation sites, such as landing points, offshore platforms, etc. He/She works in teams of different dimensions depending on the work importance and complexity. Main activities falling under the responsibility of the Superintendent, are including but not limited to: <ul><li>Preliminary works, such as route clearance, PLGR, pre-lay burial runs, mobilization of vessels</li><li>Cable loading</li><li>Cable laying</li><li>Cable burial with a wide variety of tools/machines</li><li>Cable pulling through HDD conduits or onto offshore platforms</li><li>Cable repair and jointing </li></ul>Once on site, duties and responsibilities of the Superintendent in the operative execution of cable installation works, include a full variety of aspects: <ul><li>Technical/Quality, with regards to cable and equipment management and installation procedures, in compliance with specification and Project documentation</li></ul><ul><li>Health and Safety, for all personnel involved in the operations and reporting to the installation Team</li></ul><ul><li>Environment, as far as compliance with statutory and Company policy to preserve the environment and prevent pollution are concerned (not excluding suitable measures of standard practice)</li></ul><ul><li>Company Asset Care, for preliminary verification of test/certification, correct use during operations and respect of predefined maintenance for all assets, from the vessels and burial/subsea machines to all installation equipment and tools</li></ul><ul><li>Define, select, prepare installation assets (vessels, burial machines, general installation equipment) </li></ul><ul><li>Project constraints and specification, as far as the specific Contract clauses are concerned</li></ul><ul><li>Operative Schedule, in terms of efficiency and respect of plans</li></ul><ul><li>Client relationship care, with the Client Representatives present on site</li></ul><ul><li>Supervision of Subcontractors during the installation phase (including once more all above aspects, Technical, Quality, HSE, Contract, etc)</li></ul><ul><li>Interface with Installation Department Management and other Company Departments, mainly Project Management, Manufacturing, System Engineering, Quality, in terms of regular, suitable and correct reporting.</li></ul>Installation Engineer in the office work This activity can be called Detailed Engineering for project specific installation works. Tasks are conducted in coordination with other colleagues of Installation Department and with other functions such as System Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, Quality, purchasing with the aim of supporting the execution of the submarine systems projects awarded to Prysmian. Duties and responsibilities are including but not limited to: <ul><li>Support the preparation of installation documentation for the project execution (usually called "Installation Manual").</li></ul><ul><li>Support the subcontractor selection, starting from the preparation of specification to be used as technical documents in the request for quotation. </li></ul><ul><li>Interact with project Clients, mainly on technical, planning, operative aspects, in conference telecommunications or direct meetings </li></ul><ul><li>Prepare As-built documentation during project completion phase (usually called "Final Reports"), mainly gathering all reports, records, certificates, quality documents, etc issued throughout the project execution from all operative sites. </li></ul>The duties contained in this job description are not exhaustive and the job holder may be asked by management to undertake reasonable duties associated with this function Function requires significant travel on an international basis. QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: <ul><li>Preferred to have a technical background in Engineering Technology or other Engineering related subjects</li></ul>Minimum Experience: <ul><li>Preferably experience in a role involved in installation of submarine cable but more in general in the construction industry.
