One of our clients is currently looking for Offshore Technicians (M/F) as part of their projects. Offshore technicians will work on a rotational back-to-back of 4 to 6 weeks and must have the skills to enhance safety measures and prevention of incident on products during the handling and installation of flexible and umbilical materials. Their role is crucial for ensuring efficient and safe operations in accordance with industry standards. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on a range of offshore equipment and systems.</li> <li>Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of offshore facilities and systems.</li> <li>Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with engineering and operational teams to enhance performance and safety protocols.</li> <li>Document maintenance activities and prepare reports on equipment performance and issues.</li> </ul>Requirements <ul> <li>3-5 years experience minimum as equivalent offshore technician position, in oil and gas.</li> <li>Expertise in installation and maintenance of flexible materials and umbilical systems.</li> <li>Strong understanding of offshore safety regulations and best practices.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive attitude towards maintenance and repairs.</li> <li>Willingness to work on offshore sites for extended periods (working in rotation according to the projects)</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; French language is a plus.</li> </ul>Starting date : Immediately Contract : 1 year renewable (project duration 2-3 years)

Offshore Technician

We are ramping up our expanding offshore-team with experienced Wind Turbine Technicians in Preassembly and Offshore Installation for site-based activities. <ul><li>Participate in Preassembly and/or Offshore Installation of Wind Turbines</li><li>Participate in assembling, installing and servicing wind turbine generators</li><li>Check and supervise that quality measures and safety instructions are being respected</li><li>Check and supervise the selection and usage of special tools and equipment</li><li>Participate in training organized by GWS</li><li>Plan your own work ahead</li><li>Inspection and maintenance of safety gear, company cars, tools and other GWS properties</li></ul><ul><li>You have experience working in the field as a WTG technician</li><li>You have a completed a mechanical/technical/electrical education</li><li>You have experience in Pre-assembly, Installation, Completion</li><li>Your English is at communication level</li><li>You are cooperative, communicative, open-minded and flexible - with respect for others and other cultures</li><li>Capable of working at remote sites in adverse weather conditions</li><li>Ability and willingness to travel and work domestically and internationally as required</li><li>Ability and confidence to work at height (includes physical fitness to climb)</li><li>Professional with a high emphasis on Quality and Safety</li><li>Clean drivers' license and ability to obtain a Passport</li><li>Valid GWO training and OGUK Medical Fitness certificate</li></ul>
