A fast growing, innovative and exciting renewable company to work for, &amp; excellent technical and personal development Role: This is a Senior / Lead / Principal role for Mechanical Engineer with experience in Offshore Wind Balance of Plant/ Equipment / Utilities - any of Cranes, pumps, generators, water systems, Lifting, HVAC, T&amp;I, Topside design. Essential to have senior mechanical engineering experience on BoP / equipment for offshore structures - ideally Offshore Substations. Would suit Senior / Principal / Lead with Background in the design of offshore equipment for either oil &amp; gas, offshore wind. Offshore engineering, construction, installation, commissioning and testing, operation, maintenance. <ul> <li>EPCI: any of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Operation and Maintenance for BoP for Offshore Platforms</li> <li>BoP/ Offshore Equipment / Utilities for Offshore Wind or O&amp;G substations/ platforms </li> <li>any of: EPCI, Design, O&amp;M, RAMS, Fabrication, Manufacturing, T&amp;I or Commissioning</li></ul><ul> <li>Writing / reviewing / improving Technical and Engineering Requirements </li> <li>Review of bidders' technical offers </li> <li>Technical / Design development clarifications</li></ul>Experience <ul> <li>BoP/ Offshore Equipment / Utilities for Offshore Wind or O&amp;G substations/ platforms</li> <li>Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical, Civil, Structural or similar. </li> <li>EPCI: any of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance for Offshore Platforms</li></ul>Advantage <ul> <li>Experience working with developer / EPCI contractor on Offshore structures </li> <li>HVDC Offshore platforms</li></ul>Location: UK or EU. A fast growing, innovative and exciting renewable company to work for, that offer excellent chances for technical and personal development The Role Project Engineer for Leading Engineering Consultancy. Specialists in Foundations &amp; steel design for offshore wind turbines - stress, FE, loads modelling and complete design of large offshore foundations eg. Jackets, Monopiles and steel towers. This is a senior/ lead role. You will have background in offshore wind structural engineering experience - for instance: detailed analysis and design of foundations in the offshore wind sector. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: <ul> <li>Offshore Wind engineering experience - Civil / Structural engineering.</li> <li>Mechanical / Structural / Civil / Naval Engineering degree</li></ul><ul> <li>Offshore wind project engineering </li></ul>Advantage to have any of the following: <ul> <li>Project Manager / Engineering Manager</li> <li>Offshore wind turbine foundation design</li> <li>Monopiles for Offshore Wind </li> <li>Primary Steel Structures eg Steel towers.</li> <li>Secondary Steel for Offshore Wind</li> <li>T&amp;I / Transportation &amp; Installation for OWF</li> <li>Fabrication of OWF Foundations </li> <li>Geotechnical/ Floating Wind/ Naval Architecture</li> <li>Loads Analysis - offshore loading and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations</li> <li>Package Management, Engineering Management or Contract Management experience.</li> <li>Any certification agencies such as DNV-GL, Lloyds Register and Bureau Veritas c.</li></ul>NB: please note it is essential to have offshore wind project engineering experience.
