Marine Engineer -Energy Industry We are seeking a talented Marine Engineer for one of our clients in energy industry. Your expertise in marine analyses and calculations will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepare the marine basis for projects.</li> <li>Ensure quality and punctuality of marine work based on established plans, procedures, and routines.</li> <li>Establish, update, and maintain marine work sequences.</li> <li>Prepare marine documents and implement construction and HSSE-friendly designs.</li> <li>Ensure the marine basis is up to date, incorporating new designs, revisions, DCNs, and fabrication deviations.</li> <li>Perform design verification and clarify any unclear details and requirements.</li> <li>Verify engineering and vendor documentation, providing feedback to suppliers on any lack of information or discrepancies.</li> <li>Prioritize HSSE in all work execution.</li> </ul>Key Qualifications: <ul> <li>Theoretical and practical knowledge of structural analysis and calculation, hydrostatic stability, and hydrodynamics.</li> <li>Strong communication skills with external parties in marine operations and other disciplines.</li> <li>Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations.</li> <li>Proficiency in software such as Staad-Pro, Sesam, StruProg, Mathcad, 3D/2D CAD systems, and technical registers like MIPS and planning systems.</li> <li>Good knowledge of PEM.</li> <li>Higher University Degree (Bachelor's and Master's in Marine Engineering or a related field).</li> <li>Solid command of the English language, both written and spoken.</li> <li>Leadership experience is preferred.</li> </ul>Location :Egersund, Onsite Sperton Norway The position is posted and handled by Sperton Norway, a part of the global recruitment company Sperton Global.
