Position Summary: As a key member of our engineering team, the Naval Architect plays a pivotal role in the design, repair, maintenance, and construction of a wide variety of vessels. This position involves developing and overseeing technical design work, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting operations across all stages of vessel projects - from concept and planning to execution and delivery. The Naval Architect will be responsible for producing precise and comprehensive technical drawings including structural modifications, general arrangement plans, and as-built documentation. A central responsibility of this role is developing docking plans for both floating and graving dry docks, which includes creating blocking arrangements, ballasting plans, and sequencing the docking and undocking operations to ensure safety and structural integrity. In this role, the Naval Architect will perform engineering analyses such as hydrostatics, stability assessments, and structural calculations to support vessel conversions, life extension programs, and damage repairs. You will work closely with production teams, project managers, quality assurance, and regulatory authorities to ensure that all projects are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with class and regulatory standards.
