Your role and responsibilities: <ul><li>Support technical operations by assisting in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ROV systems, associated equipment, and tooling.</li><li>Perform piloting tasks under supervision, including general ROV control and manipulator operations during subsea missions.</li><li>Assist with launch and recovery of the ROV system, ensuring safe and efficient deployment and retrieval procedures.</li><li>Prioritise safety by maintaining a proactive attitude toward Health, Safety, and the Environment, always working in line with Fugro's safety standards and core values.</li><li>Contribute to system readiness through inventory checks, pre- and post-dive inspections, and general housekeeping duties.</li><li>Collaborate effectively as part of the ROV team, communicating clearly and supporting colleagues and project personnel on-site.</li></ul>What you'll need to thrive in this role: <ul><li>Previous experience working as an ROV Pilot Technician at offshore worksites.</li><li>Strong understanding of mobilisations, operations, and fault-finding for both work-class and eyeball specification ROVs.</li><li>A nationally recognised technical or trade qualification and/or relevant vocational qualification in electrical, electronics, hydraulics, or mechanics.</li><li>Willingness and ability to work offshore for extended periods.</li></ul>Please note: due to UK Visas and Immigration requirements, this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. ROV Pilot Technician - Grade 1

Job Description ROV Supervisor We're looking for experienced ROV Supervisors to join our offshore team at Fugro, where safety, teamwork, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you'll lead ROV operations, manage offshore teams, and ensure seamless communication with project managers, clients, and vessel personnel. You'll work closely with Surveyors and Engineers to keep equipment running smoothly and data flowing accurately, typically spending around 180 days offshore each year. Your leadership will be key in conducting toolbox talks, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest standards.
