What your new role will entail; <ul><li>Be a Subject Matter Expert: you will provide technical marine ecological and marine consenting advice, internally and externally. You will direct inputs to a wide range of workstreams and deliverables across a broad range of projects including involvement in the full EIA or DCO development cycle of major projects. You will be delivering marine ecology impact assessments including ES chapters and associated assessments (HRA, MCZ and WFD) and information to support the full range of licence and permitting applications needed for marine based projects.</li><li>Ensure Quality: your role requires a critical eye for detail to ensure that our deliverables are produced to the highest quality standards and compliance with our rigorous quality management procedures. Flexible on location across the UK Job Duties: <ul><li>Responsible for the planning, preparation and successful completion of deliverables.</li><li>Have significant experience and knowledge of presenting calculations to a high standard of quality and able to utilise current computer software (including but not limited to ROBOT, GRLWEAP, WALLAP, TEDDS, PLAXIS 3D and others);</li><li>Have experience of checking and reviewing technical specifications, reports and technical notes to a high standard.</li><li>Review and comment on design, drawings and specification to ensure timely and accurate results.</li><li>Mentoring of staff to achieve technical solution and provide support to develop their knowledge and experience.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of tenders (programme, cost estimate, resourcing, preparation of written quality/technical input, etc).</li><li>Designing structures in the Marine Environment (including quay wall, piers, jetties, revetment, breakwaters, fendering, scour protection, linkspan supports, dolphins, etc);</li><li>Experience in the construction supervision of maritime structures.</li><li>Good understanding of, British Standards, Eurocodes and best practice in the maritime environment..</li><li>Experience in delivering projects over a range of cost and complexity.</li></ul>Why Join AECOM?
