As a Waterboss/Marine Superintendent, you are responsible for the floating auxiliary equipment on our dredging projects: multicats, pontoons, anchors, sinkers and floating line movements. You monitor all activities on the water.Your responsibilities <ul><li>The planning and preparation of pipeline operations</li><li>You organize sinker and floating line movements in cooperation with the Works Manager</li><li>You supervise during positioning of sinker and floating lines for the vessel or barge</li><li>You monitor the floating pipelines and report if rectification is needed</li><li>You take pipe measurements offshore on a regular basis, indicating when pipes have to be turned</li><li>You keep the logbook on anchor positions</li><li>You perform and supervise operations of the winch pontoon</li><li>You are responsible for the stock management of spares</li><li>You manage the crew plus all related equipment, introducing and applying the necessary procedures to maintain the most precise working environment</li><li>You ensure that crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials. You prevent the misuse of equipment, materials and tools</li><li>You ensure that all tasks are carried out in a safe, timely and cost effective manner</li></ul>Your profile <ul><li>You have experience with water works, multicats, anchor operations, pipelines, port traffic regulations, tugboats and pontoons</li><li>If you are a Multicat skipper yourself, that's a plus</li><li>You speak and write English fluently</li><li>You can work with a computer</li><li>You are a communicative person with good organizational skills</li></ul>Our offer <ul><li>An interesting job in an international work environment. Our Dredging and Offshore vessels are highly technological equipment. As an Electrician/Electronic engineer you are responsible for the electrical and electronic equipment on board.Your responsibilities <ul><li>You work under direction of the Chief Engineer</li><li>You maintain the electrical/electronical equipment of the vessel and the ROV, if applicable</li><li>You detect, report and solve electrical/electronical problems</li><li>You have thorough knowledge of high and low voltage systems and PLC's</li><li>You read electrical drawings easily</li><li>You observe the quality, health, safety and environmental system</li></ul>Your profile <ul><li>You have a Bachelor or Master degree in electrical/electronic engineering or a rounded vocational/technical/engineering education or an education in a similar field</li><li>By preference, you have some work experience in the maritime/offshore field</li><li>You are able to motivate, guide and evaluate colleagues in order to assure optimal productivity</li><li>Preferably but not necessary, you have a Certificate of Competency Electro-Technical Rating III/7 or Electro-Technical Officer III/6</li><li>Preferably but not necessary, you have a valid STCW VI/1 Basic Safety Training</li><li>You are communicative and problem solving</li><li>You have a hands-on and no nonsense mentality</li><li>You speak and write English fluently</li><li>You have no problem with being away from home for 4-5-6 weeks, depending on the type of vessel you work on</li></ul>Our offer <ul><li>An extensive mobility program for a healthy work-life balance</li><li>A permanent training track which allows you to develop yourself personally and professionally</li><li>A stimulating, innovative workplace with numerous growth opportunities</li><li>A people-oriented environment with an interactive health program and a focus on employee wellbeing</li></ul>
