Your key responsibilities will be: <ul><li>Taking the lead for technical coastal engineering excellence</li><li>Delivering professional expertise to projects and to customers</li><li>Managing numerical modelling tasks for waves, water levels, currents, sediment transport, etc. using state of art software as MIKE</li><li>Managing met-ocean analysis of waves, currents and water levels to establish design conditions for both coastal and offshore projects.</li><li>Design tasks using state-of-the-art coastal engineering methods to address problems related to marine structures and climate change</li><li>Hydraulic design of water intake and outfalls structures.</li><li>Preparation of technical documents (reports, drawings, specifications)</li><li>Engaging and interacting with other team members in a multi-disciplinary team</li><li>Drive the development and innovation of our hydraulic modelling excellence</li><li>Take responsibility for technical project delivery as discipline lead/design manager</li><li>Manage coastal projects</li><li>Maintain the highest level of quality in our deliverables</li><li>Promote our capabilities in the market</li><li>Co-create closely with clients and stakeholders, focussing on value creation</li><li>Act as role model for our younger team members</li></ul>About you <ul><li>A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar)</li><li>Preferably +10 years proven experience in the design of marine structures, such as quay, jetty, and berthing structures, pile decks, caissons, block walls, dolphins ect.</li><li>Knowledge about port equipment, mooring systems, and navigation</li><li>Extensive knowledge of relevant design codes and design methodology</li><li>Large experience with complex multidisciplinary marine projects, such as ports, flood defences, artificial island or immersed tunnels</li><li>Great communication skills - English at a professional level, Danish is highly appreciated any other language skills are a plus</li><li>You thrive in a dynamic work environment with many stakeholders</li><li>Sustainability is on top of your mindset and you actively want to investigate and apply green solution</li></ul>Your skillset is respected in the market and you have built up a valuable network, enabling you to understand clients needs and market trends.
