We're actively seeking experienced and skilled ROV professionals at all levels for immediate mobilisation to support a diverse portfolio of long-term operations across our expanding fleet of ROV systems and vessels worldwide. Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: <ul> <li>Responsible for the safety of themselves and others around them</li> <li>Observe safe working practices and adhere to electrical principles and industry standards</li> <li>Have an active role in the completion of task risk assessments and toolbox talks</li> <li>Adhere to all ROVOP policies and procedures</li> <li>Assist ROV Supervisor to problem solve and conduct project in a professional manner</li> <li>Responsible for the completion of all pre and post dive checks</li> <li>Undertake launch and recovery operations under direction of shift supervisor</li> <li>Conduct fault finding under direction of senior crew members</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring constant communication with nominated deck personnel during launch and recovery procedures</li> <li>Understands and ensures the full scope of work is undertaken</li> <li>Identifies all navigational aids and ensures they are fully operational</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring all preventative and general maintenance is carried out</li> <li>Fully understands the ROV operational and systems manuals</li> <li>Has a good overall knowledge of the ROV, handling system and all sub systems</li> <li>Mentor ROV trainees as required</li> <li>Maintain system inventory</li> <li>Be aware of weather conditions and operational parameters for safe ROV operations</li> <li>Pilot ROV as directed by shift supervisor</li> <li>Perform navigator and log keeping duties</li> <li>Complete and submit written technical reports at the end of each offshore cycle relating to all aspects of the project and technical repairs carried out</li> <li>Undertake training requirements, to obtain competent senior ROV Pilot Technician status</li> <li>Strive to learn new technical and operational issues while on the job</li> <li>Knowledge of 3rd party tooling and sensors and able to integrate and fault find accordingly</li> <li>Be aware of the company's IMS system and be able to navigate effectively.</li></ul>

What you can expect working at ROVOP Working with 'Blue Chip Tier 1' vessel owners, you will be working on high-end DSV's. CSV's, MSV's, FSV's, Node Deployment and Cable lay vessels, on a regular rotational basis (typically 6/6). What we expect from you Successful candidates will have previous demonstrable experience using Schilling HD and/or UHD systems, along with valid IMCA member competence certification, BOSIET/FOET, CAEBS and OEUK Medical or equivalent. Ideally you will have previous experience in construction, diving operations and/or IRM. Key duties of an ROV Supervisor, include but are not limited to: - • Ensuring the ROV is correctly maintained, correctly equipped and ready to dive when client requires. • Coordination of maintenance activities so as not to interfere with client's critical path activities. • System inventory upkeep and submission • Completion and submission of technical report at the end of each trip relating to all aspects of the project and technical repairs carried out. • Effective communication with team members and onshore management • Responsible for the safety of themselves and others around them • Adherence to all ROVOP policies and procedures • Undertake training requirements to obtain/maintain competent ROV Supervisor status.

As an ROV Pilot Technician in DOF you will have the chance to gain knowledge and collaborate with our experienced and passionate ROV team. Successful applicants will have experience working in a Marine Offshore environment, including Work Class ROV Systems preferably with (XLX).
