Great Place to Work® Top 100 Most Loved Workplace® Forbes Best-in-State Employer Marine Surveyor We're pleased to share a rare opportunity to welcome a Marine Claims Surveyor/Loss Adjuster to our expert team, with the opportunity to work with a variety of Sedgwick specialists and with colleagues in the Global Marine Practice Group. Key responsibilities include the investigation of both marine cargo and freight liability claims, requiring you to investigate the cargo owner &amp; carrier logistic practices, circumstances and cause of each loss with consideration of policy cover. The role also requires the consideration of liabilities both for the cargo owner and carriers in a transit chain. Such investigations flow into the protection and securing of recoveries from other carriers who may be involved and indeed non contracted third parties. The role relates to both first and third-party liability, it is wide, and you'll experience a wide variety of loss causes and locations along with cargo types.
