Essential: <ul> <li>UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client.</li> <li>Degree in a related technical field (environmental / civil engineering) or equivalent experience and be a member of an appropriate institution. </li> <li>Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc. </li> <li>Technical experience in UK flood risk legislation and planning standards.</li> <li>Experience in developing business cases for flood risk management schemes with the aim to secure Flood Defence Grant in Aid (FDGiA) funding.</li> <li>Knowledge of hydraulic modelling (Flood Modeller TUFLOW) or drainage modelling software (MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow) and technically competent in fundamental hydraulic design principles.</li> <li>Experience or an understanding of project management or principles to achieve project delivery.</li> <li>Experience working with public sectors such as LLFA's and/or EA.</li> <li>Experience of working on planning applications and awareness of LLFA duties.</li> <li>Experience working in client facing environments and ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul>Desirable: <ul> <li>A full UK driving licence.</li> <li>Chartered Membership of relevant professional organisation.</li> </ul>You'll get this and so much more... Specialists in Foundations &amp; steel design for offshore wind turbines - stress, FE, loads modelling and complete design of large offshore foundations eg. Jackets, Monopiles and steel towers. This is a senior/ lead role. You will have background in offshore wind structural engineering experience - for instance: detailed analysis and design of foundations in the offshore wind sector.
