RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere company safety policy and actively participate in creating safe working environment at all time
- To undertake Jobs assigned by the FSU conversion manager
- Lead FSU conversion engineering subcontractor
- Prepare Scope of Work for detailed engineering and Yard activities
- Lead and supervise detailed engineering activities
- Coordinate with project team dedicated discipline leads
- Involved in technical review of subcontractors
- Review and update Vessel and engineering documentation (P&ID, OIM manuals, safety studies, mooring and installation procedures)
- Interface with Class and ensure compliance with Class rules for new equipment and life extension of existing equipment (hull fatigue assessment)
- Interface with package managers
- Extensive knowledge in engineering and naval architecture
- Vessel conversion experience required
- LNG experience required
- Familiar with applicable regulations, codes of practice and standards in the context of marine and offshore oil and gas industry.
- Experience in the field of Marine and Offshore activities with regards to transport and installation including mooring
- Master Engineering Naval Architect
- Minimum 5 years experience as Engineering lead
- Experience in ship conversion or FLNG/FSRU newbuilding
- LNG or cryogenic experience required
- Must have hands-on experience with installation and mooring design
- Must have hands-on experience with STS operations
- A good knowledge of all appropriate engineering systems
- A good knowledge of safety and emergency systems and equipment on-board
- High level of verbal and written communication skills in English
