Our current team consists of 30 marine and coastal engineering professionals who will guide and support you on your journey to becoming a skilled engineer, while fostering a rewarding career.

Requirements

Key Experience Requirements:
  • Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Coastal Engineering. A Master's degree is an advantage but not essential for this role.
  • Professional Development: You should be motivated and committed to obtaining professional qualifications as you progress in your career.
  • Technical Skills: Prior experience in marine and coastal engineering projects is not required, but a strong academic background in structural analysis, hydraulic modelling, and design principles will be beneficial. We are looking for candidates eager to learn and develop practical skills in designing waterfront structures, breakwaters, shore protection, and modelling for coastal processes.
  • Project Support Skills: As a graduate, you won't be expected to lead projects immediately, but you should demonstrate the ability to assist in project planning, managing budgets, and adhering to timelines. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop these skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and senior engineers is key, along with a willingness to learn from others.
  • Knowledge of Standards: While you may not have extensive experience with local codes and standards, you should have a basic understanding and the ability to research and apply them as you grow in your role.
