About the role

The Survey Department is responsible for organising the surveying and hydrographic measurements carried out before, during and after dredging or offshore works. This involves working with state-of-the-art equipment.

What you'll do

For the continuous expansion of the department, we are looking for enthusiastic new colleagues. Depending on your education and experience, you will be deployed on one of several projects in Taiwan (Taichung). As Hydrographic Surveyor, your main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Set-up of survey work at project start-up: installation of equipment (sounding equipment, tide gauges, positioning system equipment, etc.);
  • Determining the most suitable sounding method;
  • Carrying out the measurements;
  • Drawing up maps using specific software;
  • Maintenance and calibration of the various high-tech systems;
  • Reporting on activities to line management;
  • Monitoring the work of local Surveyors;
  • Keeping Survey records up to date.
What do you need?

You have a degree in Industrial Engineering Construction, Hydrography, Electronics, Geology, Surveying, Geography, Bioengineering or Topography. Driving license is a must.
