- Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture/Ocean Engineering/Offshore Engineering/Marine Engineer with 0-5 year experience
- Knowledge of FPSO's, FSO, SPAR, TLP, Marine Offloading Hoses, CALMBUOY & Marine machinery
- Familiar with marine system design , installation and operations
- Hand-on experience in Ship Hull design & construction, Structural integrity, Mooring design and Stability of hull.
- Hand-on experience in identifying common structural anomalies of Hull, Mooring & Turret Structures, structural repairs and development of inspection work scopes in accordance with Company and Regulatory requirements
- Basic knowledge of inspection types and NDE techniques.
Responsibility:
- Read the class survey report and provide the recommendations for the findings based on risk.
- Screen and provide recommendations for Cargo tank inspection report, External hull under water (UWILD) report & Mooring inspection as per class requirements.
- Support planning of health checks and execution activities such as criticality analysis, monitoring plans, Risk based Inspection(RBI) plans & Inspection work pack Update/development, summary documentation for regulatory engagement etc.(BV,DNV,ABS)
- Developing structural inspection work scopes in accordance with RBI inspection schedule and classification requirements across multiple assets
- Support marine reliability ,integrity, root cause failure analysis, marine maintenance strategies and other optimisation initiatives
- Steward the development of integrity management a dashboard that captures the health of floating assets across various fleets
- Inspection data management for FPSO,FSO,TLP,CALMBUOY using Software-GE APM & CMMS
- Support/Steward data management initiatives to centrally archive design and integrity management data such as drawings, technical reports, models, Inspection plans, Schedule, Anomaly registers etc.
- Involvement with marine assurance activities to include;
- Mooring & Turret systems and ROV inspection
- Operational risk assessments
- Marine equipment assurance activities - Workflows & CMMS
- Engaging with Class society and Business Unit
- Structural integrity assessments
- Capturing condition of marine offloading hoses & hawsers system, identifying anomalies and providing recommendations as per OCIMF guidelines.
- Ensure QA/QC as per defined process
- Marine system design, installation and operations
- Inspection types and NDE techniques. Design & analytical skills
- Classification rule (ABS, DNV, BV etc.), International codes and standards
- RBI philosophy and applicability - Floating structures
