Qualifications
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary; valid driver's license; valid Commercial Driver's License required if motor equipment is of type & size regulated by Section 4506.01 & 4506.12 of Ohio Revised Code.

Job Skills: General Maintenance
What you will do...
- Assist in feeding, seining, crowding, loading, and hauling fish; observe fish behavior for signs of stress or disease.
- Assist in maintenance of all equipment (including minor tune-ups of tractors, trucks, mowers); perform minor carpentry repairs (e.g., constructs water boxes, traps, screens and shop cupboards); perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Perform facility maintenance (e.g., painting, visitor center and area cleaning, litter cleanup; pressure washing; mowing grass; tree trimming; maintaining roads and sidewalks; removing snow).
- Conduct area tours; answer phone and public inquiries regarding Division of Wildlife programs; assist with other section's field activities, (e.g., fish stockings, litter cleanup, wildlife area maintenance).
- Frequent heavy lifting including feed bags, and heavy nets of fish is required.
- Frequent working in and around water, and outside in inclement weather.

- 40 Hours/Week (Typically 8-hour days but may include some long days, up to 12 hours)
