The purpose of this specification is to define the conditions for the performance of the services relating to the NAVAL ARCHITECTURE studies to be carried out by the SERVICE PROVIDER in the context of projects.

  • Purpose of the service


  • The SERVICE PROVIDER will carry out the following tasks:

    Technical analysis of applicable meteorological studies

    Carrying out motion and acceleration studies of the floating unit

    Carrying out float stability studies for the applicable design conditions

    Carrying out design and installation studies for the anchoring system

    Getting started and developing specific calculation routines

    Writing of the corresponding reports:

    Presentation of the results.

    Participation in design reviews

    Follow-up on customer feedback and updates

    Preparation of wave basin test specifications, and follow-up of the campaign (if applicable)

    All tasks must be carried out within the framework of the quality requirements defined on this project.

  • COMPETENCES REQUISES


  • The studies at the expense of the SERVICE PROVIDER require the following skills:

    - Mastery of the specificities of naval architecture

    - Mastery of theory and applications in hydrodynamics, stability, motion studies, anchoring, etc.

    - Mastery of applicable codes (BV, DNV, OCIMF, SOLAS, MODU, etc.) etc.).

    - Knowledge of calculation software (*): ARIANE, DIODORE, GHS, ORCAFLEX, PYTHON...

    (*) This list is not exhaustive. The SERVICE PROVIDER must show its knowledge and adaptability in the use of software used in naval architecture.
