Bay Ferries Limited is currently accepting resumes for an Electrician.

Bay Ferries Limited operates the Fundy Rose betweenDigby, Nova Scotia and Saint John, New Brunswick. This is a year-around ferryservice that employs approximately 150 people.

Desired qualifications:

• Valid Red Seal or equivalent certification.
• 3+ years' experience in electrical industry.
• STCW Course
• Experience in a marine electrical field would be an asset.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, manuals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven track record of safe operations.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience with passenger services would be an asset.
• Canadian citizen or permanent residence status for positions in Canada.

Skills:

• Experience in electrical systemtroubleshooting, such as generators, generator controls, motor controls, firealarm system, engine alarm systems, and PLC controls.
• Identify, analyzing, troubleshooting,and assisting with repairs of equipment & electrical faults.
• Have to ability to work as part of ateam or with minimal supervision to execute required tasks.
