Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for an exciting Infrastructure Supervision Project. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing marine engineering aspects of infrastructure development, ensuring project success and compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead and supervise marine engineering activities for infrastructure projects in the coastal and offshore environment
  • Develop and review technical designs, plans, and specifications for marine structures and systems
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure project adherence to design specifications and safety standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and environmental specialists
  • Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Analyze and resolve complex engineering problems related to marine infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with local and international maritime regulations and environmental standards
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marine engineering
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marine engineering, with a focus on infrastructure supervision projects
  • Proven expertise in maritime infrastructure and coastal engineering
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Proficiency in technical report writing and presentation skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and their application in marine projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
