We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marine Structural Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing marine structures for various vessels and offshore platforms.
- Develop and review structural designs for marine vessels and offshore structures using CAD software
- Perform complex structural calculations and finite element analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of marine structures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with other ship systems
- Ensure compliance with marine engineering standards, regulations, and classification society rules
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for shipyard construction and client approval
- Conduct site visits to shipyards and offshore locations for inspections and problem-solving
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, weight reduction, and improved performance
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and innovative construction techniques
- Provide technical support during construction and installation phases of projects
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in marine structural engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and finite element analysis (FEA) software
- Strong understanding of marine vessel structures, systems, and offshore platforms
- Knowledge of shipbuilding processes, materials, and marine engineering standards
- Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical writing and communication abilities
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations and classification society rules
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Willingness to travel to shipyards and offshore sites as needed
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Experience in bookkeeping or other relevant fields.
- Professional certification obtained, in progress, or the willingness to pursue it.
