About the role

As a Marine Systems Engineer within Malin Marine Consultants, you will find yourself working on exciting engineering projects ranging from research and development to vessel design and delivery.

You will primarily be involved in concept development of marine systems for example, bilge, ballast, fire and other pipe systems. This role will touch on automation and robotics, mechanical handling systems, innovation projects, reverse engineering, advanced manufacturing, and technical feasibility studies. You will also find yourself exposed to industry leading transformational development projects such as MariLight. All whilst maintaining a close watch on industry trends within your field of expertise.

You will be minimum degree level qualified in relevant subject or have an appropriate level of relevant industry experience.

Where will you be working?

We are based at the iconic South Rotunda building on the South bank of the River Clyde (just at the squinty bridge). There are numerous gyms and other facilities in the area and Finnieston is a 15-minute walk where there are any number of bars and restaurants.
