As the Manager Vessel Design, you will be the driving force behind a team of enthusiastic naval architects. You will provide both strategic and operational leadership while acting as a mentor and coach, ensuring close involvement in ongoing projects. Collaborating with our sales team, you will maintain strong client relationships and translate customer needs into concrete, innovative concept designs.
You will inspire and guide your team, monitor project progress, and ensure that all designs meet the highest quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to lead an experienced and professional team with a high degree of freedom to execute your work and space for innovation. - Motivate and coach your team, oversee project progress, and ensure the highest quality standards in all designs.

To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background / experience is required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent work experience) in a relevant field.
- At least six years of experience in shipbuilding, maritime operations, shipping companies, or a ship design bureau.
- Strong knowledge of offshore shipbuilding and experience in assessing concept designs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A solid foundation in technical English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, quality requirements, and certification processes.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong leadership and teamwork skills.
