Our client a major shipowner is looking for Design Engineer ( Naval Architect) for their newbuilding of vessels Job Description Hull, machinery and outfitting design reviews and approvals. Liaise with the designer and class. Keep all documents &amp; drawings under strict control. <ul> <li>Redesign GA, structural drawings, system drawings, accommodation layout plans.</li> <li>Feasibility study for ROVs, TLQs, boat landing, AHC gangways and cargo arrangements</li> <li>Review design documents as per new IMO regulations and bring the necessary changes</li> <li>Verification of new building basic, detailed and production design and liaise with the designer and class.</li> <li>Order the hull, outfitting and machinery and other ancillaries as necessary for the project</li> </ul>Requirements <ul> <li>Naval architect for 5 years or as a design engineer with minimum experience of 10 years working for a well-known design company or a shipyard</li> <li>Proficient in using AutoCad &amp; good computer skills</li> <li>Ability to perform ad-hoc tasks without supervision</li> </ul>Benefits Chan Chee Meng EA 07C3069 R1110620
