You will be part of the design office team and will be involved in the entire ship cycle. You will be involved in design and simulation. In this role, your main activities will be to:
-Designing the various components of the ship's structure in accordance with the standards and regulations of the classification societies,
- Describing the structural elements in an integrated 3D tool,
- Ensure the technical coordination of your studies by integrating the specifications of the other trades interfacing with the structure,
- Carry out local structural strength calculations in accordance with the classification company's regulations,
- Produce the drawings required for the technical review with the ship's metal hull referee before sending them for approval,
- Ensure that quality, cost and deadline objectives are met.
Qualifications
With an engineering or technical university degree (Bac+5), you have at least one year's experience in similar activities. Experience in the naval sector would be highly appreciated. Knowledge of Smart Marine 3D, Rhinoceros, Microstation and Ansys Workbench (for simulation) would be ideal.
Skills :
Notions in steel structures on architectural reviews, general and advanced design reviews,
knowledge of master sections, jigs and block panel cut-outs.
