About the Role:
To aspire to be a trusted business partner that anticipates GWS needs and delivers seamless supply chain outcomes through exceptional people, processes, and systems. In accordance with business processes outlined in the Woodside Management System (WMS), the Drilling Logistics Coordinator (DLC) is responsible for successful logistics planning & execution to ensure the Drilling & Completion operations are continuously supported with equipment & personnel. The DLC will understand and follow the drilling program and its detailed Drilling & Completion guidelines as the baseline for planning. The DLC role is to coordinate personnel, materials, support vessels, and drilling equipment provided for the operations. The DLC is rotationally based on the MODU (mobile offshore drilling unit) and works at the direction of the Well Site Leader and in coordination with the onshore roles supporting the campaign.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Identify, communicate, and proposed mitigating controls to the team on equipment or product handling risks
• Verify Dangerous Goods are correctly handled and transported as per WMS standards and local regulations.
Costs:
• Control of costs through effective management of transportation resources
• Proactively identifying opportunities to minimise campaign costs
Supply:
• Utilize SAP MM Module to transfer, consume and dispose of materials
• Communicate with Supply Chain & Marine to align project schedule
Quality Assurance:
• Ensures all logistics operations and material handling procedures are performed to relevant industry standards and any deviations are recorded and reported
Development:
• Manage personal development, and maintains validity of all certifications
• Coach & mentor others regarding safe & efficient logistics operations
Skills & Experience:
Qualifications:
• Deep knowledge of drilling and completions materials management, operations and logistics
• Highly effective project management, supervisory skills and techniques.
• Experience / Knowledge of Mexico regulations, permitting moving RA Sources and Explosives
• Required licences and certifications (Dangerous Goods, BOSIET, First Air, etc)

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Logistics focal point for an assigned campaign (MODU)
- Communicate logistics strategic plan to internal & external stakeholders
- Develop, update and publish 14-day logistics plan in conjunction with GWS Well Site Leader.
- Coordinate material movements in accordance with project requirement timelines (Kabal, SAP)
- Manage project inventory, executing enterprise transactions and consumption
- Manage actual & potential issues impacting timely equipment delivery
- Intervene, report nonconformance and recommend improvement of safety, reliability & efficiency
- Execution of materials management processes, in accordance with WMS
- Expectations and Standards
- Call off and coordinate timely delivery of bulk product (liquids and dry bulks) as per published or agreed plans and schedules
- Backload manifesting of Woodside, TPC and drilling Contractor equipment from the rig.
- Schedule and coordinate personnel movements with Project Logistics utilising digital software, and where necessary communicating fixed wing requirements to the travel coordinator, if project required.
- Coordinate personnel movements in alignment with operational resource plan
- Completion of shipping documentation for all equipment is identified, recorded, and packed according to WEL standards (includes contractor's containers).
- Comply with Domestic and International shipping regulations
- Report Cost & Performance for MODU, Project, Contractor and Equipment
- Establish & maintain high standards for cargo handling & transportation
- Maintain familiarity with all relevant work site safety and emergency procedures.
- Participate in pre-job safety meetings and behaviour-based safety programs.
- Serve as a member of the Incident Management Team
- Familiarity of lifting codes, standards and engineered lifts

- Prior rig, shorebase, and warehouse experience preferably at a supervisor level
- Previous experience of digital logistics software (WELS / Kabal) or equivalent.
- Previous experience of digital personnel movement software
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
