What you will be doing.
As our Principal Engineer, you will support to the business line in the region and globally. Managing related projects using professional experience and basic principles. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:
• Lead complex proposals and contract negotiations, including third-party suppliers.
• Plan and manage project execution, overseeing scope, deliverables, and resources.
• Drive process improvements, innovation, and competency development within the company.
• Support business growth initiatives alongside the management team.
• Ensure all operations and reports meet company policies and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, optimizing service quality and business growth.
• Lead technical and assurance projects, delivering high-quality results on time.
• Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
• Ensure compliance with Quality & HSE standards in all operations.
The role is based in Shanghai, China and the incumbent will have the right to work and reside in China. Ability to work remotely as required. Onsite (offshore) attendance and time with clients with flexibility to working hours.

- Chief Engineer (STCW III/2) with over 10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in marine engineering with practical knowledge of ship systems.
- Fluent in Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong leadership and conflict management skills with the ability to guide teams.
- Technically and commercially astute with excellent report writing and documentation abilities.
- High competency in MS Office and strong presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build effective client relationships and work under pressure.
- Self-motivated, assertive, and forward-thinking with strong ethical standards.
- Preferred solid understanding of DP, Diving, Marine.
