About the Role:
This role reports to the Chief Engineer responsible for executing activities onboard the Ngujima-Yin/Okha FPSO's associated with main engine, propulsion, auxiliary systems, steering gear, hotel services, cargo management services. In addition the maintenance of classification and statutory certifications associated with these systems, ISM Code requirements and administration associated with these activities. On occasion coverage may be required as Chief Engineer in disconnected mode. This position is FIFO, with rosters being discussed during the pre selection process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Coordination and operation of the main engine, propulsion, auxiliary systems, steering gear, hotel services, cargo management services
• Operating equipment associated with oil and gas processing, utilities and safety systems
• Coordinate and undertake maintenance activities in both planning and execution. Also recording and reporting in maintenance systems e.g. SAP PM
• Maintenance of classification and statutory certifications associated with these systems, ISM Code requirements, and administration associated with these activities
• On occasion coverage may be required as Chief Engineer in disconnected mode
Skills & Experience:
What we expect from you:
• Qualification Class 1 Motor with Oil Tanker Endorsement
• Oil/Gas Tanker and or FPSO experience as a Chief Engineer is desirable but not essential
• Team coordination / facilitation / management skills
• Skilled in HSE Safety Case and safety management systems
• Skilled in Emergency Response as a Tanker Officer
• Skilled in Activity Planning
• Skilled in Maintenance and Integrity Management
• Skilled at working within multi-disciplinary teams
• Demonstrate positive influence on team and organisation, driving continuous improvement
