Job Description
The ROV Pilot Technician will be responsible for Operating and maintaining Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Systems onshore & offshore under supervision; Ensuring that components are operational to conduct investigations, inspections and underwater interventions in accordance with the project deliverables and applicable regulations.
Operations include assisting with preventive maintenance, learning fault finding methods on systems and learning piloting skills.
Who you'll be working with:
While offshore, depending on the nature of the project, you may be working closely with the team of Surveyors, Engineers and Data Processors to ensure all ROV equipment is working effectively, and data is collected efficiently and accurately. You will communicate regularly with the team onboard the vessel and, when required, clients.

Certification/ Qualification:
Bachelor of "Electrical/Electronics/Electro mechanics/Electrical Control /Mechatronics" Engineering from the below universities:
Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Alexandria University, Azhar University, American University in Cairo, German University in Cairo, AAST University
IT Skills: Good command of IT literacy and MS office

- Assisting with the ROV launch and recovery operations.
- Piloting the ROV and operating manipulators in a range of subsea conditions
- Fault finding and maintenance of ROV control and navigation systems.
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical umbilical terminations
- Coordinating and collating dive records
