- Operate and maintain ROV systems and associated equipment including LARS, TMS, sonar, manipulators, and cameras.
- Carry out pre- and post-dive checks, fault diagnosis, and routine maintenance as per OEM and client requirements.
- Assist in mobilization/demobilization of ROV systems on vessels or rigs.
- Monitor and control ROV operations, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
- Maintain detailed dive and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate closely with Pilots, Supervisors, Survey, and Engineering teams.
- Participate in toolbox talks, job safety assessments, and risk analysis meetings.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience with ROV systems (preferably work class such as Triton XLX, Quantum, or Schilling).
- Strong understanding of subsea electronics, hydraulics, and fiber-optic systems.
- Valid BOSIET/FOET, medicals, and offshore certification (e.g., CA-EBS, H2S awareness).
- Advantageous: IMCA R04, R06 modules or manufacturer-specific ROV training.
- Able to work on a rotational offshore schedule (e.g., 4/4, 6/6).
- Malaysian nationals preferred due to logistical and work permit considerations.
