EME currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following vacancy:
Second (2nd) Marine Engineer
To substitute Chief Engineer when necessary. Supervises all other operational Engineers and Engine Room crew, plans the overall maintenance of machines in the engine room.

Minimum Requirements & Duties
- Namibian citizenship
- STW95 F Class 2/3 Marine Engineer certificate Unlimited in Marine Engineering CoC, i.e. Electro-Technical Officer Red seal
- Thorough knowledge of three phase power generation and distribution
- Knowledge of engine safety control systems, Alarms Vessel repair experience
- Knowledge of speaking Russian language is an added advantage
- Ensure safe working condition of electrical equipment
- Ensure reliable condition, operation, and maintenance of all electrical equipment
- Responsible of automation equipment (mechanisms, devices, systems, equipment)
- Strong leadership, Good communication skills
- Keep electrical documentation on record
- Experience of Soviet-built Meridien factory freezer trawlers is added advantage.
