To help us deliver the best solutions to our clients, we are looking for a Senior Structural Marine Engineer to join our team. We are more than 20 people working alongside our customers on some of Denmark's most significant projects. By having structural, geotechnical and hydraulic engineers working side by side we are consistently bringing cross-discipline thinking and strong teamwork to every project . And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like Lynetteholmen reclamation project, Laayoune phosphate terminal in Morocco and the Abo Qir Port Expansion in Egypt.
As our new senior Structural Marine Engineer, you are going to work closely with a team of experts and will report to the Head of Discipline.

As our new senior Structural Marine Engineer, you are going to work closely with a team of experts and will report to the Head of Discipline.
Your key tasks will be:
- Acting as a Marine Structural Specialist or as a Marine Structural Discipline Lead for port, terminal, and marine infrastructure projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes that meet their needs and align with our sustainability goals.
- Acting as a Project Manager in small sized marine engineering projects.
- Engaging with project managers in setting a technical direction for the structural discipline, budget and staff planning.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and contribute to the development of their technical capabilities.
- Engage with technical networks to facilitate the development of innovative approaches, as well as new methods and workflows that integrate the latest technology and best practices.

On top of that, you will have:
- A degree in civil (or structural or geotechnical or marine) engineering with 8-15 years of experience in an engineering consultancy.
- Scandinavian consultancy experience in designing berthing structures and other structures in the marine environment such as dolphins, trestles, water intakes/outfalls, etc.
- Expertise with quay equipment, scour protection, navigation and other elements of port design.
- Practical knowledge of concrete and steel structural design and detailing.
- Thorough understanding of relevant building industry codes in Denmark and other Scandinavian countries. Experience with BS 6349, and PIANC is considered beneficial.
- Extensive experience with common structural (or geotechnical) packages.
- Domestic and Scandinavian marine / coastal market awareness is beneficial.
- Fluency in Danish or one of the other Scandinavian languages.
