L'objectif principal du poste de Technicien(ne) Plaisance est d'inspecter les catamarans, d'effectuer les réparations nécessaires, de participer à la mise en service et à la maintenance des nouveaux catamarans Leopard sous garantie, tout en assurant la traçabilité et la documentation de l'ensemble des travaux réalisés. Marine Technician

This position is contingent upon contract award Amentum is seeking a Senior Marine Technician in Oahu, Hawaii to support an upcoming contract opportunity. The Senior Marine Technician will oversee the onsite operations and maintenance of a seafaring vessel on a day-to-day basis. Primary Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Will supervise all preservation, cleaning, maintenance, fabrication, upgrade/expansion, and repair duties, including supervising the Amentum employees and subcontractors.</li> <li>Additional duties will include riding the vessel during all at-sea missions to lead all at-sea Company operations including performing deck and rigging tasks, cooking, cleaning, conducting rounds, standing watch, participating in firefighting operations, and performing emergency repairs.</li> <li>Responsible for supervising any additional subcontractor employees who are required while underway.</li> </ul>Minimum Requirements: <ul> <li>Active SECRET required. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a DOD Secret clearance.</li> <li>15 years of relevant work experience or combination of technical school plus 10 years of relevant work experience.</li> <li>At least five year of relevant work experience should be in a supervisory role responsible for a group of technicians performing relevant work. Relevant work experience should be shown in areas of at-sea vessel operations (deck, rigging and line handling tasks, cooking, cleaning, conducting rounds, standing watch, participating in firefighting operations, and performing emergency repairs), in-port operations (rigging, crane operation, forklift operation, man lift operation), and maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, upgrades, fabrication, installation, operational and testing support of hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&amp;E) systems.</li> <li>Experience should be focused in hull and mechanical systems with some electrical. Experience in project management and planning and leading various aspects of design development.</li> <li>Training, certifications, and/or licensure in firefighting, ship damage control, crane operation, forklift operation, man lift operation, first aid, automatic external defibrillators, CPR, and food service supervisor/manager training preferred.</li> <li>Completion of US Coast Guard (USCG) Approved Basic Fire Fighting Course or Refresher within the past five (5) years (preferred) or complete within 30 days of employment. </li> <li>Completion of USCG Approved Able Bodied Seaman Course (preferred) or completion within 30 days of employment</li> <li>Completion a USCG Approved Advance Fire Fighting Course or Refresher within the last five (5) years (preferred) or completion within 30 days of employment.</li> </ul>Compensation: The annual starting salary/ hourly rate for this position is between $80,000-$90,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Marine Technician - Boat Maintenance Technician

Boston Harbor City Cruises is seeking a Marine Technician for our operation in Boston, MA. Salary Range: $25-30/hour About You: This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System. About the Opportunity: The Marine Technician position is a shore side-based position. The qualified candidate supports a compressive program of maintenance and repair of the passenger vessels in the City Experiences' fleet of vessels. These vessels range in size and construction, are USCG inspected, and powered by mostly diesel engines. This position is based in Charlestown, Massachusetts for the Boston and North of Boston based fleet, and Quincy, Massachusetts for the Boston and South of Boston based fleet. Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities: <ul><li>Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and other machinery found on passenger vessels. This includes but may not be limited to diesel main engines, diesel auxiliary generators, water jet propulsion equipment, marine reduction gears, hydraulic systems for steering, cranes, and thrusters. </li><li>Ability to perform heavy machinery maintenance and repair work including engine valve gear timings, injector changes, cylinder head and liner overhauls. This may also include machinery rigging in and out of vessels. </li><li>Perform water jet maintenance and repair while the vessel is in the water or in dry dock.</li><li>Perform vessel and dockside plumbing repairs to pipes, valves, tanks, and pumps. </li><li>Perform vessel electrical troubleshooting and repair of generators, motors, control systems, sensors, and related wiring. Also, low voltage and battery powered starting, control, electronic control, and monitoring systems. </li><li>In dry dock repairs at the shipyards of the vessel drive lines, water jets, couplings and shafts supporting shipyard personnel and/or the Port Engineer. </li><li>Documentation and monitoring of maintenance and repair work through the company web based and structured maintenance and repair program. </li><li>Participate in computer-based monitoring and input of maintenance tasks, work hours, and company training and documentation programs. </li><li>Work the hours and shifts assigned by the Port engineer.</li><li>Other marine maintenance and repair work either dock side or on the vessels that the Port Engineer may require.</li><li>Participate in achieving the maintenance division goal of consistent vessel reliability through proper maintenance and repair practices. </li><li>Additional job duties assigned. </li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications: <ul><li>Unlicensed engine room machinery technicians if having prior training and experience on motor vessels such as work boats, tugs, fishing vessels, passenger vessels, or vessels of the U.S. Armed forces </li><li>Diesel or heavy machinery mechanics from a trades institution, U.S. Armed forces, or other industries that require hands on repair of engines and engine related systems. </li><li>Basic computer skills as well as excellent communication skills. </li><li>Strength and agility to safely lift over 50 lbs., and move about a moving passenger vessel, work in often tight spaces and around moving machinery.
