What does the job involve?
Responsible for Safe Work practices, planning, execution and monitoring of lifecycle operations and preventative as well as unplanned maintenance of the facilities, equipment, tools, and systems used to acquire energy resources. Includes identification and evaluation of operational risks and setting operational performance targets and measures. May include oversight/scheduling of a preventative maintenance program and maintenance related functional activities as job planning, scheduling, shift control, performance monitoring and liaisons with operations groups to ensure equipment/plant scheduled downtimes are coordinated effectively.
You are utilizing your knowledge independently to solve highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term tactical impact/risk. You address key business challenges that align with Equinor's short and long-term strategy via providing specialist support to your team and others. You independently communicate within the immediate team, across other areas, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties. You regularly navigate conflicting agendas and may lead negotiations with senior stakeholders. You resolve challenges, deliver improvements and contribute to shaping best practices. You promote change initiatives, demonstrate flexibility to adopt new highly complex activities/ways of working and advice others. You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values.
In the initial period which is up to 1 year candidate can work from Warsaw office, but the expectation is that candidate will be able to work from Łeba after this period (hybrid work is acceptable).

What will my tasks be?
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
- Establish and enforce a culture of safety within the organization.
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and minimize risks in Renewables.
- Develop comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for Balance of Plant infrastructure of Offshore Wind Farms, equipment, tools, and systems. Coordinate with operations groups to ensure effective scheduling of equipment/plant downtimes for maintenance activities.
- Oversee a preventative maintenance program for Balance of Plant infrastructure of Offshore Wind Farms to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of facilities assets, equipment, tools used in Renewables.
- Develop maintenance strategies, conduct risk assessments, and optimize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Identify and assess operational risks associated with facilities, equipment, tools, and systems. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and improve operational reliability. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures.
- Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement measures to optimize operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance equipment reliability.
- Work closely with operations groups to schedule and coordinate equipment/plant downtimes for maintenance activities. Ensure effective communication and coordination to minimize production disruptions.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject matter area. Engineering education background, preferably mechanical/civil construction/marine construction.
- 7+ years' experience in civil construction/steel industry and minimum 1 year of experience within maintenance process.
- Experience in marine facilities maintenance or construction is desirable.
- Familiarity with ROV (Remote operation Vessels) technology is desirable.
- Experience in marine industry - any kind may be valuable.
- Knowledge of tools for fatigue monitoring of steel structures, corrosion protection systems is desirable.
